Our story
After meeting on match.com, Chef Jason and Erica London quickly realized that they each had a strong passion for food. They joined forces to launch The Chef and the Baker - a catering & events business specializing in comfort foods with a twist. Signature dishes include Mushroom Risotto and Chocolate Chip & Pecan Cookies.
Chef Jason started cooking as a child, and inherited family recipes from his mother before obtaining formal culinary training at Kendall College. He has created menus and specialized meal plans for corporate executives and local celebrities for over 10 years.
Erica is an avid self-taught baker with over 20 years of experience working in the corporate food industry and has an extensive background with curating events. Her strength is in hospitality and creating unforgettable experiences.
Now married, their hope is to create a culinary experiences where people can feel loved and taste the love through their food.

The chef and the bakers are present at south loop farmers every other Thursday from 4PM to 6PM. we have a variety of amazing food items. visit our stall for amazing food and our featured product.
